Switzerland!!!

Hello! It has been a few days and several miles since you have heard from us. Much has happend and many beautiful places have been visited.

Lyon will go down as oneof our favorite bigger cities in France. If you are going to visit France we strongly advise you to just skip Paris. Lyon is beautiful. We treated ourselves to a really nice dinner which turned out to be one of the best meals we both have ever had! That's all we'll say about Lyon, you can check out the pictures.

A train ride from Lyon to Aix Les Bains where we got back to the business of cycling. Now back in the mountains we were treated with beautiful views of massive mountains and beautiful valley's as our route took us along the Rhone River on our way to Switwerland.

We arrived in Switzerland yesterday. Geneve is a very big and very busy chaotic city. We spent just enough time there to figure a way out! Once out of the city the views of the lake with the surrounding mountains have held us captive. We camped within feet of the lake last night. We had an unobstructed view of the lake and Mont Blanc! I can't even finf the words to describe how breathtaking it was. The view of the glacial Mont Blanc with the auqa green clear waters of Lake Geneve in the foreground were simply beautiful. We spent the evening at our campsite and never een went into town!

Today we are making our way north along the lake towards Lausanne. At this moment we have decided to change our plans a little. We will take a national bike route from Lake Geneve to Olm, Germany. In Olm we will ride along the Danube River to Austria!

Bob here, switwerland rocks!! What a beautiful country. We are updating our blog today at a little cafe next to Lake Genveva qbout 15 feet from the lake. It is like Lake Minnetonka or Lake Tahoe on steriods! We have a bike bath that is taking us along the lake past beautiful homes and incredible views. Life is very good.

We visited a little town just before this town where a gentleman insisted we stop and see. He and his wife gave us a guided tour of the little town and of the castle. Life is good.

It is another beautiful day today and we have nothing but time to enjoy! Life is good.
